About a quarter of Yamal-201 and Yamal-202 satellites capacity Gazprom Space Systems uses for the providing services (SCPC links, VSAT services, TV and audio broadcasting, Internet access) to get the added value and to diversify the operator business.

Teleports of Gazprom Space Systems is the basis for the company activities as a communications services provider.

At the moment the company operates three teleports located in Moscow and Moscow-region settlements Dolgoye-Ledovo and Schelkovo. All three teleports are joined by redundant fiber optic lines and connect to the largest Moscow backbones. The total length of Gazprom Space Systems technologic fiber optic lines exceeds 200 km.



Moscow Teleport

The Moscow Teleport was built in 1995. It is located in Gazprom headquarters buiding at Nametkina Street. It includes three C-band ground stations equipped with 5 m antennae for working with Yamal-201 and Yamal-202 satellites. The teleport is designated for arranging communications links for Gazprom technological needs, including videoconferencing. 



Dolgoye-Ledovo Teleport

The Teleport was built in early 2000s. Now it includes three ground stations with 7.2 m antennae:  

It also hosts the DVB-RSC, DVB-S/S2 HUBs.

The Teleport provides SCPC links, VSAT services and TV uplink.

The Yamal-201 and Yamal-202 NOC is also located on the Teleport territory.



Telecommunication Center (Schelkovo)

The construction of a new Telecommunication Center began at the company-owned piece of land of 6 hectare in Schelkovsky district in 2008. In 2009 one of the company’s old teleports and an Internet Center were moved here from Korolev City. All facilities for communications services based on new satellites of the company will be also accommodated at this Center.

In 2010 here from Korolev was relocated the MCC and TT&C facilities. New satellites control as well as their capacity monitoring will be also performed from this Telecommunication Center.
